The project has developed through several stages with the first stage largely being the conversion of the exisiting Mill Buildings. The second and third phases have involved the sensitive design of new apartment blocks to sit comfortably within the grain of the existing mill buildings, and to relate to these in terms of scale, proportion and materials. The final phase three also involves the creation of a new restaurant building at which provides a contemporary counterpoint to the mill buildings and addresses a prominent junction.
